The study was aimed to assess “The prevalence of screen time addiction among schoolers and it's impact on children's behaviour” in a selected School, Thiruvananthapuram. The objectives of the study were to assess the prevalence of screen time addiction among schoolers, evaluate the impact of screen time addiction affecting children's behaviour and identify association between screentime addiction with selected socio personal variables. The sample size consist of 100 school students who were studying in fifth, sixth and seventh standard of Blue Mount Public School, Thonnakkal. The tool used was five point likert scale with two sections, Section A consist sociopersonal datasheet of age, class of study, area of residence, type of family, academic performance, occupation of father, occupation of mother and number of siblings. Section B consist of, Tool 1 Screen addiction assessment tool, consist of four statements regarding prevalence of screen time addiction and Tool 2 Behaviour assessment tool, consist of 20 statements regarding impact of screen time addiction among children's behaviour. The data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics.
