A descriptive study to develop an information booklet and assess the knowledge and attitude regarding the negative impact of mobile phone usage on academic performance among 15 to 17-year-old students in selected schools of Dahod district

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly increased reliance on mobile phones for educational purposes. With the transition to online learning, students became heavily dependent on smartphones as their primary learning device. Although mobile technology has facilitated continuity of education, it has also raised concerns regarding its influence on academic performance. This study explores the impact of mobile phone usage on students’ learning outcomes, focusing on both the positive and negative aspects of mobile dependency in academic life.
